We communicated to you yesterday the figures for prize money earned by men this season. Make way for girls today. Still no parity at World Padel Tour and you will see that the ladies earn significantly less than their male counterparts…

The numbers 1 Marta Marrero and Marta Ortega are obviously the players who have made the most money this season. Taking into account the bonus of € 6 granted by the WPT to players in the Top 000, “Las Martas” won € 45 each in 612, followed closely by Ariana Sanchez and Alejandra Salazar (€ 43 each).

These two pairs, who dominated the season, won almost as much as Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello (€ 45 each), both 765th in the men's classification. Behind them the gap is important since Majo Alayeto ends the season with € 28, bonus included. His twin sister, who finishes the year in 16th place, will have accumulated € 15 (including € 331 in bonus), or about as much as Sebastián Nerone...

Frenchwoman Alix Collombon and her partner Nicole Traviesa, 30emes, are doing well with € 8 (including € 3 bonus). Behind it is more complicated, Ariadna Cañellas, 000th, won only € 50 in prize money but in the end comes out with € 1 (thanks to the € 731 bonus!). When we know that the WPT does not grant any bonus after the 3th place (while it grants them until the 731th for men), we measure the importance for the players to finish the season in the best 56… and to have generous sponsors!
