Veronica Virseda announced on Instagram that she was withdrawing from the World Padel Tour Danish Open at the expense of her partner, Beatriz Caldera.

The Spaniard's message:I regret to announce that I will not be participating in the Danish Open next week due to plantar fasciitis which I have been suffering from for two months.
The accumulation of tournaments makes recovery difficult, so I hope to be back to full fitness very soon.

This withdrawal propels Léa Godallier and Giulia Sussarello into the final table. The Franco-Italian team will face Eli Amatriain and Sofia Saiz in the first round, before possibly challenging Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay.

As a reminder, Alix Collombon is also in the tournament and even has a good chance to play with her partner Alejandra Alonso since she will play against a pair from the qualifications in the first round.
