Le World Padel Tour (WPT) just announced that the Denmark was going to join the Tournament calendar for two seasons. Indeed, a WPT Open will be held in this country in 2022 and 2023, which will be a great first.

Passion for padel and for the professional championship par excellence continues to grow in this country, it therefore seemed legitimate that they had their tournament. Further proof that the countries of northern Europe are an incredible vector of growth for the padel. The Danes join their Swedish neighbors who will still have their WPT tournament this season. It will be in Malmö.

Remember that in Denmark it is possible to follow the most important matches live thanks to ViaPlay, this platform also available in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland.

The Scandinavian country will become the 10nd European country to host a stage of the WPT Calendar. Its predecessors are Spain, Portugal, Andorra, France, Italy, Monaco, Sweden, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
