After the Reus Open 500 and a well-deserved week of rest, the World Padel Tour returns to Spain with the Granada Open 1000. The players arrive in Andalusia with maximum ambition and ready to fight from the first round. It will also be an opportunity to see at work new pairs after a big wave of changes.

For men, the clash of the round of 16 will take place on Tuesday between two new teams: Fede Chingotto and Paquito Navarro against Javi Rico and Léo Augsburger. In parallel, the two members of the NOX team Tino Libaak and Miguel Lamperti will challenge Javi Leal and Juan Cruz Belluati. Finally, Sanyo Gutiérrez and Fernando Belasteguin are returning to the circuit and will have a lot to do from the outset against Javi Garrido and Jon Sanz.

In the women's draw, the revelation team of this start to the season, Claudia Jensen/Jessica Castello, will have to be wary of Carolina Navarro and Mari Carmen Villalba. The other good first round posters concern the French, since Léa Godallier will face the Alayeto twins alongside Carolina Orsi. At the same time, Alix Collombon will inaugurate her association with the young Spaniard Alejandra Alonso against Patricia Llaguno and Victoria Iglesias.
