Remember, a few weeks ago stood the World Padel Tour Malaga Open and we could witness an incredible moment on the track.

This unique moment took place during the meeting between Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan against Gonzalo Rubio and Miguel Benitez.

David vs Goliath

While the number 1s started the game well, the underdogs of the match managed to pull themselves together in the second round, winning the latter and thus casting doubt on the favorites.

Stung, Lebron and Galan wanted to show that they were the bosses in the 20×10 but it was without counting on the determination of the Benitez – Rubio pair. Going blow for blow, the two pairs had to decide during an anthology tie-break in the 3rd set.

More than 12 min of suspense

To the delight of the public present in the stands, the show was there.

The two teams were determined to leave with their ticket to the quarter-finals but it was to everyone's surprise that Gonzalo Rubio and Miguel Benitez managed to eliminate the world number 1 in a tie-break of more than 12 minutes.

Malaga was able to witness that day the perfect illustration of the fight between David and Goliath.
