The first day of the main draw of the World Padel Tour Malaga Open has just ended, and there was only one small surprise at Palacio De Deportes Martin Carpena.

Indeed, all the seeded players who made their debut on Tuesday were solid. Bela and Yanguas, disappointing in Madrid, did the job against Sans/Zapata: 6/3 6/4. Chingotto and Navarro, probably still tired from their week in Madrid, still provided the essentials against the Melendez brothers: 7/5 6/4. Tello and Ruiz, in search of sensations, impressed against Gutiérrez / Rico: 6/3 6/2 in 1h04!

In the unseeded matches, the top seeded almost every time were up to par, with the exception of Ramiro Moyano and Xisco Gil, beaten by Muñoz/Ramirez : 6/1 1/6 5/7.
