We had to wait for the last 1/16th finals of the World Padel Tour Malmo Open to see the hierarchy shaken up.

And it is in the table gentlemen that surprises have arisen. The first, in chronological order, is to the credit of Agustin Silingo and Juan Cruz Belluati, who showered the ambitions of Ramiro Moyano and Francisco Gil. The latter, 24th and 25th in the ranking, let slip eight breaker opportunities to achieve only one. Conversely, they gave up their face-off three times, which allowed Silingo and Belluati to come away 6/3 in the first set then 7/5 in the second.

The Argentinians will still have to raise their level of play as they will meet their compatriot Fernando Belasteguin and his Spanish partner Arturo Coello tomorrow.

The other surprise of the evening is signed Gonzalo Rubio and Alex Arroyo, who made the perf of the day by eliminating the TdS7 Momo Gonzalez / Ale Ruiz. Again, the latter lacked realism by converting only one of their eight break points. Rubio and Arroyo obtain a ratio of 2/5, which allows them to win 7/6 6/4 in 1h 36 at the finish.

They can now dream of a quarter-final, which means for them to overcome the obstacle Javi Ruiz / Pablo Lijo
