A page in our sport is turning: Juan Martin Diaz played the last match of his career.

The native of Mar Del Plata lost with Miguel Lamperti against Teo Zapata and Fran Guerrero. A defeat in two sets for the seniors (6/3 6/4), who are leaving the competition and will therefore not be able to afford the gala match they dreamed of against Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia.

Lamperti and Diaz not being registered for P1 in Milan, they played the last match of their season there, the last in short for JMD. Quite a symbol: one of the greatest players in history, who spent 14 years at the top of the world rankings, is bowing out in Mexico, the country where our sport was invented 54 years ago!

During his last post-match interview, the legendary left-hander was very emotional as you will see below.
