It's through the account Instagram de Marta Talavan (20) that we heard the news. This last announcement that she will again share the track with the one who has been her ex-teammate until now, Lorena Rufo (32)

Indeed after being associated for two years the first time, the Spaniards have decided to join forces for this 2023 season. Their objective is very clear: to do better than the last time. And they announce the color in their Instagram post: "Who says second times aren't better?". The two players will both train at the M3 Academy, in the Iberian capital.

Lorena Rufo and Marta Talavan sign their comeback for 2023

Before separating, the Mdrilenian and the native of Caceres had managed in 2021 to reach the quarter-finals three times on Open and Master of the World Padel Tour. In 2022 Marta started the year alongside Nuria Rodriguez. In the middle of the season it was with the Portuguese Sofia Araujo that she went a long way to finish with the Valencian Tamara Icardo.

As for Lorena, she teamed up last year with Sofia Araujo, Carmen Goenaga, Carla Mesa and Claudia Fernandez. As a reminder, she managed to qualify with the latter for the semi-finals of the Menorca Challenger Final by eliminating the number 1 seed.

Back together, Rufo and Talavan will try to climb the leaderboard and give the best version of themselves on the track.
