The previas of the men's table of the World Padel Tour Vigo Open 2023 ended yesterday, so we know the names of the qualifiers who join the final table.

Facundo Dominguez and Denis Perino first created a surprise by eliminating the number one seeded pair of qualifiers, Jimenez/Moya (6/1 – 6/3), before holding their rank against Rodriguez/Solano (7/ 6 – 7/5). The two men inherit a complicated draw as they will challenge Paquito Navarro and Fede Chingotto in the first round.

Pablo Garcia and Jaime Fermosell in turn obtained a ticket for the main draw by signing three consecutive victories. They ended up with a success at the end of the suspense over the Melendez brothers (3/6 – 6/3 – 6/4). Garcia and Fermosell have a great opportunity to shine in the first round against Munoz / Vilarino.

Diego Gil and Ignacio Sager are survivors of the previas. They got out of two badly embarked matches by winning twice in the tie-break of the third. In particular, they played an exceptional match in the last qualifying round against Jofre/Hernandez (7/5 – 4/6 – 7/6). Gil and Sager will have to draw on their resources against Lucas Bergamini and Victor Ruiz.

Finally, Enrique Goenaga and Jairo Bautista enforced their number two seed status. A last solid victory over Santigosa / Gala (7/6 – 7/5) confirms their place in the final table where Lucas Campagnolo and Maxi Sanchez await them.
