Speedy victories among the ladies

For men, two games with similar scenarios

We were treated to two similar games yesterday for the men. In the morning Paquito Navarro and Ale Galan created the feel of this tournament by discarding the favorite pair: Galan / Lebron. After a one-sided first set and a quick break in the second set, the No.1s seemed headed for an easy victory, but that was without counting on the self-sacrifice of the Hispanic-Argentine pair.

With an always positive attitude and a lot of accuracy in the game, Paquito and Di Nenno ended up disgusting their opponents. A first benchmark victory for the seed number 4 who will inevitably want more today!

At the end of the day we saw another match in three sets, to our great pleasure. Dominated at the start of the game, Bela and Sanyo were able to round their backs and never stopped hanging on. More consistent tactically, they were able to take full advantage of the slow conditions and once again demonstrated their science of padel. A victory which allows them to fill up with confidence before facing a pair who walked on the water in two sets yesterday!

For the record, today will be the 36th clash between Paquito and Bela. For the moment it is Bela who leads the score 20 to 15. In addition to the best player in history, Navarro will have one of his pet peeves in the person of Sanyo Gutierrez. Indeed, his former teammate leads 13 to 2 in their clashes!
