After the information that the official rapprochement between Premier Padel and World Padel Tour will materialize from 2023, we have surveyed you about this.

One of our questions was to ask you if you are against a possible merger: the answer is an overwhelming yes, at more than 85%. As the graph below shows, almost no one is against and one in 9 respondents is neither for nor against a merger.

But our main question was to imagine together the name of the future single circuit, if it sees the light of day.

Three proposals alone won more than 70% of the vote: “World Premier Padel” is in the lead for 29,6% of you, ahead of “World Premier Padel Tower” with 22,2% and “Premier Padel Tour” with 18,5% of the vote.

Even though these are QSI and Premier Padel who seem about to absorb the WPT, you remain attached to this strong brand, which dominated the padel professional for 10 years. The proof, the word “world” remains omnipresent in your choices. And several respondents told us that they wanted us to keep the name World Padel Tour.

Finally, to the question “What does this merger inspire in you?”, most of your answers confirm that this simplification is popular with the public.

“It's a good thing because it would give us a unified ranking and the points reported on the Premier Padel would count for the ranking. So a better reading of the world rankings”, we are told.

Another respondent noted that “fewer tournaments for players means less risk that certain tournaments will be skipped. A unified ranking will be really great!”

“An easier circuit to follow”, with “more readability” and “consistency on the world ranking”.

Another sees in it “the end of a squabble, the beginning of a standardization of the classification and a clearer showcase for viewers”.

“Missing more than A1 Padel”, we are still told. What does Fabrice Pastor think?
