Our French champions of padel 2017 caused a sensation in Lisbon at the Lisbon Challenger.

Bastien Blanqué and Johan Bergeron achieve a great first: Achieve access to the qualifications table of the professional circuit of padel after winning 3 consecutive matches in the pre-qualifiers.

Yet the path was long and complicated. Already in the first round, it was necessary to win this very complicated match against the French pair Haziza / Scatena. Behind it was necessary to leave two Spanish pairs ... And the pair Blanqué / Bergeron did it!

In this small pre-qualifying final, the French win their match in 2 sets 7 / 6 6 / 4.

Johan Bergeron tells us:

We were hot ! Because the level was very high. The first set was particularly tight. But after winning the first set, we succeed in the breaker entry. Break that we will manage to keep to the end.

Tomorrow, our French have yet to win two consecutive games to reach the finals of the Lisbon Challenger.

It starts tomorrow at 13h against the Spanish pair Javier Perez Morillas / David García Campos, players in the top 100 world. If the French pair wins, there would be a small final at 19h to access the 1er turn of the main draw.

It's doable. Tonight it's soup and sleep!

Conclude "Jo".
