A few days after the Five Padel Cup, Dorian Navarro traveled to Barcelona to play a tournament alongside Sébastien Husser-Walther.

In the first round, the two men had to fight a big battle to snatch victory against Ruben De Diego and Marcos Cambronero: 4/6 – 7/6 – 6/4. In the quarter-finals, they found themselves facing the Spanish and world number one, Oscar Agea, and his partner Coco Bernal. Facing the tournament favorites, the French offered very good resistance, but had to lose in two sets: 6/2 – 7/6.

An already successful tournament for the Blues at this stage, but the high point came in the classification match. Indeed, Navarro and Husser-Walther defeated the third world pair composed of Luis Peinaldo and Alvaro Garmilla after a fierce fight: 7/6 – 6/7 – 6/4.

A performance congratulated by the Spaniards and which should not be minimized, as Dorian Navarro pointed out: “This is the first time that the hierarchy has been shaken up to this extent by the French. Few teams can boast of having knocked two players out of the top 3, even among the Spanish. I'm very happy to have achieved this with Seb, who had a great match! We also benefited greatly from the coaching of Jean Michel Pequery.”

The French players then finished in style with a success against Inaki Ramperez and their compatriot Nicolas Vanlerberghe: 6/1 – 6/3. Dorian Navarro and Sébastien Husser-Walther finished this Barcelona Open in the Top 5 and can be proud of this extraordinary course in Catalonia!
