The European Championships Padel 2019 will take place once again in Portugal. Portugal is a land of padel, for sure. But it therefore succeeds in hosting these Championships once again after having already hosted them 2 years ago.

Initially foreseen in Italy, it is finally in Portugal that we will have these 12th European Championships of padel from November 3 to 9, 2019.

There are 2 years, Spain had logically won everything in the ladies as in the men. This year again, Spain is the big favorite, even if the competition is organized.

Several questions that arise:

First, where will these European Championships take place? Is it in the same place as 2 years ago? The Estoril Tennis Club is a site that had been criticized because renovations were not yet completed. The site was certainly very beautiful and today with the work carried out, the complex could certainly host these European Championships once again. Chance of the calendar, the international tennis tournament of Estoril is currently taking place.

Will we have multiple sites? One for the ladies and one for the gentlemen? As we know, it's a specialty: In recent years, players and nations have complained of having to navigate between several clubs. padel during international events. But is it possible to do it? Because the teams are numerous.

Will we have an Open tournament? At each event, we have an Open that accompanies the events by nations. Except that these tests are often boycotted by the best. Will the organizers propose an Open again?
