The 2024 A1 season Padel promises to be full of new features! In addition to pair changes that we have already commented to you, we are going to see slightly different competitions. Indeed, the circuit will offer draws of 48 teams during the Master and Grand Master, which will involve holding an additional round, with an early start to the competition three days earlier!

Tournaments that will last ten days!

In other words, the Master and Grand Master will always last 10 days, starting on a Friday and ending on Sunday of the following week!

This is how the matches will be distributed throughout these ten days:

  • Round of 32: 6 matches on Friday, 5 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday.
  • Round of 16: 8 matches on Monday and 8 on Tuesday.
  • Round of 4: 4 matches on Wednesday and XNUMX on Thursday (all afternoon).
  • Quarter-finals on Friday afternoon.
  • Semi-finals on Saturday.
  • Final on Sunday.

As you can see, this new system will allow more pairs to participate in these tournaments!

A small change also for the Open

The Open tournaments for their part will begin from Monday. The competitions in this category will start on Mondays, which is also a novelty given that during the year 2023 they often started on Tuesdays:

  • Round of 16: 8 matches on Monday and 8 on Tuesday.
  • Round of 4: 4 matches on Wednesday and XNUMX on Thursday (all afternoon).
  • Quarter-finals: 4 matches on Friday afternoon.
  • Semi-finals on Saturday.
  • Final on Sunday.

As a reminder, Fabrice Pastor's circuit is making its grand return at the beginning of next month in Mexico!
