Bernard Giudicelli, the President of the FFT, returned to the Marshall plan put in place by the French Tennis Federation to support players and clubs affiliated to the FFT in the face of the health crisis.

All clubs concerned

The FFT is holding on and releases 35 million euros for the tennis ecosystem, padel and beach tennis. A plan that will run between June 3, 2020 and August 31, 2021.

Good news: NOBODY will be forgotten. On the contrary, the FFT, through its President, explained that there were going to be “adaptations” to allow the clubs (commercial structures) which are empowered to the FFT to benefit from its recovery plan.

The President of the FFT expressed himself clearly on this subject, explaining that a convention “should be implemented quickly”With these clubs. This is a process that will be different from affiliated clubs.

This is why the FFT will set up with assisted clubs, an agreement to respond as quickly as possible to the authorized clubs hit hard. The terms of this agreement have not been set out, but it is a safe bet that it will also depend, like the affiliated clubs, on its size and the number of licensees.

The President of the FFT bets on “the rapid construction of an original partnership ” et “That it is necessary to study the methods to support the resumption of activities of authorized structures".

Operating mode

The FFT is currently setting up a digital platform which “was specially designed to handle requests“. This platform will be operational from June 3 and will allow everyone to submit their request for assistance: www.relance.fft.fr

It will put the various players in the decision-making chain in real time with the beneficiaries.
