On the circuit of World Padel Tour, there is change among the ladies. And our French players shine on the international scene.

With the arrival this week of Marta Marrero as queen of the professional circuit in place of Maria Alayeto, we wanted to decipher the trend of this ranking. 

N ° 1 French and N ° 30 in the world ranking, Alix Collombon is one of the very few foreigners to make a place on the WPT circuit, a circuit almost exclusively dominated by Spanish and Argentinean players. 

In the 60 first players in the world, there are 56 players who are Spanish or Argentinian.

There are 2 Portuguese players (Ana Nogueira in the 17 rank and Sofia Araujo in the 28 rank) and a Brazilian player in the 49e place (Raquel Piltcher). 

Concerning the French, we then find Laura Clergue at the 67e world place then Melissa Martin and Lea Godallier who are gaining ground and are currently around the 160e place. 

In this very Spanish-Argentinian ranking, the presence of 2 French players in the first 70 ranking is therefore a real performance if we look at the rankings of other nations (Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Andorra ..).
