The glutes: These muscles that we know so much. Yet at padel, we don't necessarily think of stretching them because they often hurt less than the thighs or calves. Let us try to get you used to stretching the muscles of your body after each effort so that you can see you again quickly on a padel.

Practice is good, play is very good, but stretch after a training or a match, it's very very good. And when we take age it is better to take the stretches seriously because the recovery is much longer than for an adult under 30 years.

Here is an exercise to achieve to stretch these charming attributes that only others can see.

We advise you to do this stretch during 10 seconds with 3 repetitions.

  • Lying on the floor, stretch your legs
  • Fold your right leg
  • Place the outer part of the left foot on the right knee
  • Catch with your 2 hands the hollow of the right leg, under the knee
  • Pull slowly toward you and keep the stretch.
  • Same exercise with the other leg

Caution: This exercise can also be performed standing by leaning against a wall and bending one of the two legs. It can be dangerous and create lesions in the knee, that's why we prefer the supine position.
