The Roquettan P1000 had put the small dishes in the big for this big French tournament. The organization took care of the accommodation and meals of the top seeds and offered a village around the courts with kine service and Winback technology, not to mention the great paella evening.

Patrick Fouquet, the tournament director, returns to this colorful event ... and in rain:

A weekend of padel… But that was without counting on the weather, which offered the rainiest weekend in 50 years.

Result Saturday night: we played only the qualifying hens and the 16e finals.

We hope to play the next day from 9h and on agreement of all the players we decide to continue the tournament with 4 tours in the day so Sunday.

Morning 6h: The rain is still there and we push back to start at 13h with perfect playing conditions.

And after the flood of Saturday, this day of Sunday offers us a deluge of tie-break and super tie-break with this magnificent plateau.

TISON / MAIGRET at STB against CORBELLI / PEQUERY, HAZIZA / SCATENA at STB against VALSOT / CUBIIIER then at TB 2em against FOUQUET / RITZ saving set ball.

A deluge of beautiful points, passing by the physiotherapist between matches, a deluge of spectators sheltered from the sun under the tents, scoreboards with the names of the players and the players' corners dressed by the parasols BABOLAT.

The 1 / 2F finish at 19h45 and 1h is offered to the players and the remaining paella to the spectators who will stay until the end of the final at 22h in an atmosphere of madness of a public of connoisseurs.

In the end despite all this rain, we come out with a magnificent tournament thanks also to our various partners who are often members of the Padel club.

It was great and we want more and HAZIZA and SCATENA heated by the atmosphere fly over the final to win their 2th title in 2 weeks.

We will start again.
