City Saint Georges (in Belgium) has been welcoming since last Tuesday a brand new padel !

With 5 indoor and 4 outdoor courts, this brand new “Planet Padel”Is now placed as the largest complex dedicated to the practice of padel en Wallonia. In addition to the play areas, the concept also consists of a club house, a restaurant, children's games, a multipurpose gym, a virtual golf room, and two meeting rooms!

At the level of the courts, the leaders saw the big picture: the infrastructure is up to standard to host official and international competitions (an application has already been submitted to host a major competition in the summer of 2022). The objective for the partners behind this project is to combine high level and amateur sport.

And among the associates there are some great former Belgian sportsmen such as: Steve Darcis (ex-tennis player), the footballer Guillaume Gillet (currently at Sporting de Charleroi), and Jerome Peeters (Belgian international from padel). The latter plans to open on site in January 2022 a padel academy for children and adults. Maxime Diedericks, the fourth co-owner, is an entrepreneur from the Liège region.

This daring project seems to have all the elements that will undoubtedly allow it to be very successful!
