Benjamin Tison, who has just ended his career as a professional padel player, is appointed high-level and sports manager at the management Padel of the FFT. He will take office on January 5.
Aged 34, Benjamin Tison will be in charge of the high level and the entire sports sector within the management Padel of the FFT. He will bring all his experience and expertise to his new role.
Under the responsibility of Stéphanie Cohen-Aloro, director Padel, Benjamin Tison will be responsible for leading the "high level" padel strategy, with the aim of developing the best French players in the discipline to lead them towards excellence. At the same time, he will support the development of training and the practice of padel in France.
Benjamin Tison, who finished the 2023 season at 60e world place (FIP), began his professional career in 2016. Coming from the Mantes-la-Jolie club, he obtained the best ranking of his career in June 2023 (57e). French No. 1 for five years, he participated in 12 final draws on the circuit World Padel Tour, and achieved his best performance in Amsterdam in 2023 by reaching the round of 2022. He has played in the World Padel Championships three times. In Dubai in 3, he even reached the podium (XNUMXe place) with the French team.
Gilles Moretton, president of the FFT, declared : " We are very happy and very proud to welcome Benjamin Tison, the best French padel player in history, to the FFT. This appointment is part of the FFT's desire to accelerate the development of padel, particularly high-level and training. Thanks to his experience as a professional player, I am convinced that Benjamin will successfully take up this magnificent challenge. »
Benjamin Tison said: « I am very happy and very eager to join the team and help develop this incredible sport that is padel. I thank the French Tennis Federation for the trust placed in me. I will bring all my experience in this new challenge ».

I don't know Benjamin Tison personally, but everything I hear about him is extremely positive. His appointment to the FFT seems to be such a well-received decision that one could imagine that a popular vote would have elected him with a score that would make any candidate pale – a way of saying that he is truly unanimous .
Of course, losing the best French padel player on the court is a sacrifice, but what we gain in exchange is still not bad: Benjamin brings with him a deep knowledge of world padel, and he is without a doubt the ideal person to advance padel in France.
There you go, I just wanted to express how lucky we are to have him on board. Good luck, Benjamin!
We are all behind you and we can't wait to see what you will accomplish ✨
