The fifth step of the Betclic Remontada se played this weekend near Valenciennes. Back to this mid-season stage! Note that a pair attempted two remontadas over the weekend, but in vain, qualifying for Paris is proving very difficult!

In the category All, no unusual gaps this time: a father and son won the first Todo and two friends 20cm apart in the second.

10 pairs won at least one match with a 5-point lead on the Betclic field and therefore won €20 worth of freebets each. This is the lowest score of the 5 stages, proof that the level was homogeneous in Valenciennes!

En Mixed : a very high level with players ranked from Top 500 to Top 200 – it was a smash.

In the category Much : two twins barely 20 years old (the Dupont brothers, a winning name!) won by remaining 7 rotations out of 8 in 1er ground. Ranked only 10th because they have played very few tournaments, they will quickly move up in the rankings for sure!

The record for Bombshell challenge by Babolat was not beaten among the men. : it is still 14,8 meters. Stage record: 13,2 meters. On the other hand, the record was broken for women with 12,2 meters!

Next stop in Créteil, this weekend from February 29 to March 02 with 200 participants expected. There are last places left in Old School, Todo and Mucho. To register it is HERE.
