The BIG PADEL BORDEAUX offered the 2nd edition of the CIC Big Padel Masters. A large audience came thanks to the presence of Arnaud Di Pasquale and Arnaud Clément as well as the 4 members of the French padel team, Mathieu Lapouge, Maxime Moreau and of course, the reigning French padel champions, Bastien Blanqué and Johan Bergeron who are becoming increasingly rare on the French circuit.

The Moreau/Lapouge vs Di Pasquale/Clément match was played to a "sold out" crowd! We've never had so many people to watch a padel match at Big. A very big match between the 2 teams where the former tennis players, who had a bad start, got 2 first set points. They finally lost 7/5, 6/4. A match where the crowd RE-GA-LED themselves with crazy points. Their former coach Rémi Barbarin came to practically every change of side to encourage them, like back then!

In half-final, a very close match between Moreau / Lapouge vs Boissé / Romanowski. Mathieu must have unfortunately abandoned at the beginning of 3e after feeling a big pain under his thigh to his despair because he really hoped to play the final of the P1000 of his club. In the other 1 / 2, the local pair Peyrou / Armagnac could do nothing against the double champions of France.

The final was one way despite magnificent points. The very severe score (6 / 2, 6 / 0) does not reflect at all the face of the match but the experience of our champions made the difference in the important points.

It was an exceptional weekend at Big Padel.

Note the big media presence with TV7, L'Equipe, France 3 region and Canal +!
