It's official, even if it was no longer a secret since the two players were already traveling separately in international events, for Dorian de Meyer and Thomas Vanbauce, the adventure ends together.

In a post on Instagram, Dorian shared his feelings about this separation with his words:

“There are some publications that are easier to make than others. This evening, it is very difficult since I am announcing the end of my engagement with Thomas Vanbauce after seven years of collaboration. It is impossible for me to describe precisely everything we have experienced, gone through, learned in recent years because the emotions are so intense. In particular, I have a lot of difficulty finding the right words. Starting as friends looking for an activity to share good times together and ending up as partners on a professional project, I think it's complicated to imagine what that represents. Even though we probably did not manage to get the maximum potential out of our team, I would like to say that I had great years alongside you which made me grow enormously as a human in all aspects of the life. The road has been very difficult and that is exactly why I now take immense pride in what we have built together. I will never forget him.

I would like to thank everyone who crossed our path and believed in us. The journey has been incredible. We accomplished many of our goals, which continued to increase year after year.

I obviously send a special message to the Big Padel, it is thanks to you that our team was born in 2017, the story is just magnificent.

Also a special message to JT Peyrou, the relationship we built as a threesome was very strong and the shared sports moments were magical with you. The more memories go back, the stronger the emotions.

I wish you good luck Thomas Vanbauce, you know how convinced I am that you will succeed.

For my part, I do not yet know the rest of my projects as the change is complex for me. I'm already having a hard time hitting 'publish' tonight so I'm going to stop there.”
