Prepare yourselves, lovers of padel ! Asnières-sur-Seine will soon welcome a brand new center dedicated to this booming racket sport. Initially planned for Robinson Park, Home Padel 2 will ultimately be nestled near the banks of the Seine. With seven courses in total, including two open-air courses and a Mediterranean restaurant, the complex promises to be a must-visit place for enthusiasts.

A change of location due to heritage constraints

Despite initial construction plans at Robinson Park, opposition to the arrival of a private operator in a public park and architectural restrictions linked to the proximity of the dog cemetery, a protected site, forced planners to look for a new location. Ultimately, a former parking area near the Seine was chosen.

Frédéric Sitbon, deputy mayor of Asnières, passionate about padel, has supported the project from the beginning. According to him, the padel is an accessible sport: even without tennis skills, you can indulge in and enjoy the padel.

Eco-responsible infrastructure and an emphasis on the family

The work, which began in April, is progressing quickly. The indoor courts will be sheltered under an eco-designed removable structure. Frédéric Sitbon underlines the importance of the ecological aspect of the project, with a permeable coating and a water recovery system.

Unlike the first Casa center Padel in Saint-Denis, focused on businesses, that of Asnières targets families more. José Manuel Escin, founding president of Casa Padel, plans lessons for children and close collaboration with local tennis clubs.

The investment for this project is estimated at 1,5 million euros, and in addition to the land padel and restaurant, the center will offer spaces dedicated to osteopathy, fitness and yoga.

Jose Manuel, having already issued a thousand licenses in Saint-Denis thanks to the affiliation of Casa Padel at the FFT, has even greater ambitions for Asnières. In particular, he wants to emphasize inclusive sport, particularly for young people.

In summary, with an opening planned for early December, Casa Padel 2 d'Asnières is preparing to be more than just a center of padel, but a real gathering place for the local sports community.
