The International Federation of Padel organizes the 2019 Youth World Championships from October 14 to 20 in Castellon (Valencia, Spain).

For 1st times, France will participate. Also, the International Federation of Padel operating by calendar year, the selection of our young French people will have to be made according to the 2019 vintage (for the FIP, a U18 is therefore a Young person born in 2001 or after, a U16 born in 2013 or after etc.).

Consequently, and for greater consistency vis-à-vis the competitions organized by the International Federation, the French Youth and Seniors Championships will be respectively called “French Youth Championships 2019” and “French Seniors Championships 2019” (the qualifying phases taking place in a sporting year 2019).

As a reminder, the dates of the interregional phases and the final phase have been brought forward, following the dates of the World Championships:

  • 29 and 30 August for interregional phases
  • 14 and 15 September for the final phase.
