Former Atletico Madrid professional footballer Juanfran, and the Brazilian professional padel player, Lucas Campagnolo, will organize a charity event highlighting padel at the Civitas Metropolitano, the Colchoneros stadium, next September.

The former right-back of La Roja and Colchoneros Juanfran will return to Civitas Metropolitano but this time with a padel racket in his hand. The ex-footballer has joined forces with the Atlético Madrid Foundation and the Brazilian padel star Lucas Campagnolo as part of a charity event around padel.

Campagnolo-Juanfran-Play2Help

The event, which is called “Play2Help”, is a solidarity initiative committed to the fight against childhood cancer. Its objective is to mobilize substantial funds for research. There will be former footballers, influencers and celebrities, whose names have not yet been revealed.

“Play2Help” will be held on Saturday, September 9 at the Civitas Metropolitano stadium. The profits from this day of padel will be dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer, in collaboration with the foundations “Medula for Mateo” et “The Sueño of Vicky”.

It should be noted that this will be the first time we will see padel in a football stadium in Europe, but in the world. In fact, there has already been a stage of theAPT Padel Tour (now A1 Padel) in the football stadium of River Plate in Argentina.
