The professional players are enjoying a well-deserved vacation after a very busy first part of the season. And at the time of taking stock, we notice that only one pair was able to follow the rhythm of the new kings of padel worldwide, Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia.

This is the reality of padel current: Coello and Tapia are so much above this season, that after them, the best team is a pair that they have already beaten nine times, out of eleven confrontations!

But when you know that the Hispano-Argentinian pair has only lost three times in 2023... It's finally almost a feat that Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno were able to win two victories against this two-headed monster!

Indeed, “El Rey Arturo” and “El Mozart” from Catamarca have already won a whopping thirteen titles (ten on the WPT, three on Premier Padel). Behind, the remaining pairs share the crumbs and a duo manages to recover them all: the one trained by Carlos Pozzoni. The Superpibes already have five titles in their pocket (four on the WPT, one on Premier Padel), and are the only ones with Arturo and Agustin to have won major tournaments this season.

They therefore confirm all the expectations placed on them at the start of the season and now hope to be able to challenge the arch-dominance of the players of the Crosetti-Martin-Pratto trio a little more.

Will they make it? Whatever happens, with the hoped-for return to the foreground of Lebron and Galan, we say to ourselves that the second part of the season promises to be more exciting!
