Focus on two players who managed to match some of the best French players during the P1000 of 4Padel Toulouse-Colomiers: Thibaut Pech and Benoît Theard.

Blanqué / Grué will remember it

Thibaut Pech (TP) – We had a very good tournament at the P1000 of 4PADEL Toulouse Colomiers with a very high level of draw. From the quarter-finals we had the Blanqué / Grué team on our way. We played a first set with a very high level of play. Everything was perfect and we won 6/2, but the hardest part was going to come, continue to play in this way while adapting to the change of the opposing team.

We were breakered from the start of the second but managed to keep a quality of play that allowed us to come back in front to finish 6/4.

Thibaud Pech

After a first feat we knew we had a second to do with the Guichard/Maigret pair, and a completely different style of play.

Maigret / Guichart was hot!

Benoit Theard (BT) – There was a lot of intensity in this match. And arriving at 4/4 in 3rd, on a ball to the gate of Dylan my body dropped without warning. A big cramp in the left quadriceps, Adrien and Dylan were great and gave us time to get back on the field. But I had the quad right hand and arm, we knew it was over, Thibaud started trying to get all the balls and threw the last forces into the battle, in vain.

Sad not to have been able to fight until the end and to have been let down by the physique. It was terrible for me and also sad for Thib who had a monstrous tournament and who didn't deserve an end like that.
It's sport, once again Congratulations to Adrien and Dylan for their match and for the title.

As always in our team we take positives from it, after a good meal, we left to win the match for 3rd place in two sets against Cancel / Joris.

Thibaut Pech and Benoît Theard

“Pech rhymes with Theard”

TP – Everyone knows on the circuit that Pech rhymes with Theard and that Theard rhymes with Pech, we are friends in life and that helps us enormously on the ground.

Benoit Theard

“We want to win titles”

BT – For 3/4 months we have been lucky to have our friend Bastien Blanque in Toulouse. This allows us to have a high quality training, with a lot of intensity.

We plan individual training each with our coach Christophe Semmartin, as well as physical training per week. Added to this are one or two training sessions as sparring with Bastien Blanque. We try to do the maximum despite our profession and our family life.

We want to win titles, that's what we train for, but we still need to be more consistent to achieve this!
