We talked a lot about it, last August 27 and 28 was held the first international tournament padel armchair, in Le Mans.

For this occasion, the cream of the discipline was present at the meeting in the Sarthe. We were able to find well-known players like Iñaki Ramperez or Alvaro Garmilla.

The Spaniards, who dominated the competition, were also surprised to see that the level is progressing so quickly in other countries. So much so that it could give rise to vocations. Indeed, after a good performance for his first international competition, the French number 2 Dorian Navarro decided to devote himself solely to padel-armchair.

Indeed in a post published on his social networks, the tricolor explains to us that after three good years of tennis which will have seen him reach the 86th place in the world in singles and the 69th in doubles, he decides to put his career aside and thus swaps his tennis racket for a pala.

Dorian Navarro

"Le padel armchair is in full swing and I am progressing quickly. I have fun on the court. The objective is simple: to devote myself 100% to padel ” he wrote on his publication Instagram.

Given the great success of this first international tournament of padel-armchair, it would seem that the organizers are setting the stage again next year for a new edition.
