Fabrice Pastor:“Whether it is tennis, basketball… For me the padel is an indoor sport. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't rain. I understand that the iconic places where we play are in the open air, but there have been days with a lot of wind and the spectacle of the padel cannot be seen.”

Lorenzo Lecci Lopez: What conclusions can we draw from the 2022 season?

Fabrice Pastor:“I think there was a major explosion. We signed with the players for 3+3 years. We consolidate as we grow. We will have many new promoters: 11. There will be new tournaments. The director of the Fabrice Pastor Cup, Vicente, has created a parallel circuit with more than 20 tournaments with young people from all over the world. We keep growing.”

He actually wanted to wait until his son was 18 so that he could sign the contract himself! He therefore signed it on his 18th birthday. It was a very beautiful moment.”

Fabrice Pastor:“This contract is for all professional players of padel. The association of professional players, of which Andrés Britos is the president, is there for that. She demands a lot of things from us and we try to give that to the players.”

Lorenzo Lecci Lopez: We know the battle between the circuits compared to the women's circuit. Will there be an offer from the APT Padel Tower for women?

Fabrice Pastor:“The proposal is already on the table. We don't have enough players yet to play many tournaments. The objective is to have as many women's tournaments as men's next year. The promoters are there to organize these tournaments, but in general we do not manage to have a wide enough table. If we had more registrants, the prize-money would balance out. But we need a group of players.”

Fabrice Pastor: "It's hard to say ! I'll give you a podium. In first position, Maxi Arce who has been excellent this season. Dal Bianco in second position, and Tito Allemandi in third position who has been very consistent this season.
