ATC Angers will organize the 1st international tournament Padel from November 19 to 24. It will be the 1st French FIP RISE. A major tournament that is part of the FIP Tour. For the competitors, this will be an opportunity to obtain points for a world ranking.

From P1000 to FIP RISE ...

A year ago we organized our 1st P1000 ladies and gentlemen. ATC Angers is a club that has many ambitions in tennis as in the padel. This is why we took advantage of the evolution of the FIP, to achieve a FIP RISE. This will be the very first tournament of padel of the FIP in France.

For us, this is important because it is a milestone that we are crossing in the padel. Our President Alexandre Soulié immediately accepted the idea of ​​offering a FIP RISE in Angers, but also in France. We will inevitably have the best French players, but also players from all over Europe.

With the FFT, we are collaborating to see this beautiful tournament become a date renewed in time.

The FIP Rise, a ladies and gentlemen tournament ...

Absolutely. For us it was very important to have a ladies and gentlemen tournament. We know that it is not that easy to offer ladies events. But if we don't, we can't help the padel feminine to develop. Now our players, foreigners, must play along and not hesitate to come and enjoy this great competition which takes place from Tuesday evening to Sunday.

Its mode of operation

2 qualifying days on Tuesday and Wednesday and final draw from Thursday to Sunday with 32 teams. This tournament is open to all players from padel who have a license in their country.

It will be a real celebration of padel with matches, parties, but also activities with the city's schools on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, a free discovery on Sunday morning ...

Where will the club stop?

The club wishes to develop the padel. But also to offer great international competitions. That's why we give ourselves no limits. With coherent projects, more land… Les Portes du World Padel Tour could one day open ... and we will respond.

Number of pairs and prize money

We welcome 24 women's teams and 32 teams in the final tables including 4 qualified and 4 WC from Thursday. For the qualifiers, we organize matches on Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening.

The prize money is 5100 €: 3000 € for men with 1200 € to the winning pair and 2100 € for women with 900 € to the winning pair.

We are waiting for the 1ères inscriptions to see the enthusiasm that such a tournament can bring to Angers.

A few players in the world top 100 would be a great satisfaction and we hope to have the best French and the best French.

Access to the club throughout the week will be free with evenings organized, Beaujolais evening on Thursday, VIP evening / player on Friday.
