Top start to the 2024 season in Australia with the FIP Rise Australia Padel Open which will take place from January 3 to 7.

Manuel Vives and Julien Seurin are getting back into good habits by setting out to conquer the East. The number 1 seed will be the big favorite for the event since the only player in the top 200 is none other than Manu Vives, who starts the season at 164th place in the world. Julien Seurin, 205th player in the world, could thus join the world top 200 after this tournament, if obviously the statuses are respected.

On paper, it is the perfect tournament to build confidence and launch the 2024 season by gleaning valuable points for the rest of the adventure on the FIP Tour.

We will mainly have Australian players, including one who made Australia's tennis heyday, the former world number 1 in 1999, Pat Rafter.

Note that another French pair is registered in this FIP Rise: Jérôme Morane and Enzo Cascegna. They will start the tournament with 2 small points won by Jérôme and will be the 11th pair in the tournament just ahead of a certain pair Rafter / Morland.

Among the ladies, a Frenchwoman will be part of the adventure in this relatively low-level FIP Rise ladies, it must be admitted: Sophie Arnuti de Mula will play alongside the Australian, Ana Renda. The Franco-Australian pair will be seeded number 6 in the table.
