It's over at the Big Padel ! Mario Huete and Fran Ramirez won the final of the FIP Rise of Bordeaux against Solbes and Hernandez in a match with twists and turns (6/3 3/6 6/3). Indeed, this meeting which opposed the seeds 2 and 3 of the tournament kept all its promises.
In the first set, it was the favorites who struck first, taking advantage in particular of the physical difficulties of Miki Solbes. The Spanish player, who suffered from back discomfort after being hit by a ball in the groin during the semi-final, often had a little trouble moving around.
But in the second round, the seeded 3 was able to grit his teeth and collect points on the few faults of Mario Huete, who often wanted to put too many. Quite logically, Hernandez and Solbes were able to pick up the score and offer the public the third set they dreamed of.
In the last set, the favourites were able to fully recover their padel and drive the nail in when their opponents were at their worst, with Miki finishing the match painfully.

The first FIP Rise of Bordeaux therefore sees the pair Ramirez / Huete win the Big Padel at the end of a day during which they will have won their two matches in three sets!
