As we said previously, it is a busy day for the French in Sweden with no less than 11 French present in the first round in Gothenburg.

This morning, it was Carla Touly and her partner, the Portuguese Fernandes who opened the ball. The 3 seed did not tremble with a 6/1 6/1 victory against the Spaniards Gomez and Rodriguez.

Behind, it is Julien Seurin and Philémon Raichman who validated their ticket for the rest of the events. The French suffered, notably saving three match points, but ended up getting through it. They won 5/7 6/2 7/6 against the Spanish-Portuguese pair Angles / Barbosa.

Unfortunately, the third match with French players was not as favorable to the French delegation, the Bordelais De Meyer and Vanbauce losing 6/2 6/4 against the 5th seed, the Italian pair Sinicropi / Brusa .

Finally, Wendy Barsotti and the Lusitanian Castro escaped after 2h45 of match against the Dutch Segou and Hemmes. The 7 seed saved match points but ended up winning 3/6 6/4 7/6, thus validating his ticket for the second round.

This afternoon, from 17:30 p.m., five other French people will be present on the Swedish slopes: the pairs Dylan Guichard / Bastien Blanqué and Steffi Merah / Marie Rondot, as well as Mélissa Martin, who teams up with the Portuguese Melo.
