End of the round of 16 in Sweden with the results of 6 French people competing in this FIP Rise tournament. Of the six French representatives, three qualified for the quarters.

At men's, Bastien Blanqué et Dylan Guichard trembled during their meeting against Federico Beltrami (176) and Steve Straquadaini (550). It took three sets for the French pair to get rid of the 100% Italian duo. Victory in 3 rounds: 6/1 3/6 6/4.

Bastien and Dylan are expected on the courts this evening at 18 p.m. for their quarter-final.

It does not pass, however Philemon Raichman et Julien Seurin. The French lost in two sets, 6/3 6/4, against seeded 8 Daniel Santigosa (167) and Guillermo Collado (171). A judged match “way too average on my part” by Julien Seurin.

For girls now, Carla Toully and his partner Margarida Fernandes won in two sets against the 9th pair of the tournament: Catarina Santos (123) / Brittany Dubins (176). Victory 7/5 7/5 for the Franco-Portuguese pair who will play their quarter-final this evening, in the second rotation, facing the 8th seed : Natividad Lopez Diaz (132) / Laura Luján Rodríguez (137).

End of the adventure for Wendy Barsotty et Caterina Castro Vilela. The 7th seed lost in two sets to the Spanish-Swedish duo Gema Flores Saucedo (383) and Maria Rasmussen (195).

The matches can be followed on the YouTube channel of FIP and Padel MagTV with, to the comments, Julien Seurin !

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
