As our commentator Mario Cordero would say: “But what a game!"
It was after almost two hours of unbearable suspense that the pair formed by Benjamin Grue et Aitor Garcia wins this P1500 from 4Padel Bordeaux .
Favorite of this final against Quentin Ayuso et Timeo Fonteny, the Franco-Spanish pair still had to battle to overtake two well-established players. After winning the first set 7/5, Aitor and Benjamin hit the ground running in the second set. Offering a more incisive game, the Bordeaux player and his partner managed to lead 4/0. We saw them rushing towards victory at high speed, but that was without counting on the determination of young Timéo, 16, and his teammate Quentin, who were able to catch up little by little. Once again in the game, they even managed to come back to the score thanks to a very nice counter from the left-hander.
The 1st seed was unable to hit the nail on the head and saw the outsiders regain confidence at the end of the second round.
On the 20x10, the four players don't give up and fatigue is felt. The two teams go blow for blow. Quentin and Timeo save four match points and manage to snatch a decisive game from all hopes. Moment chosen by Benjamin Grué and Aitor Garcia to take advantage of all their experience and finish the work.
Final score: 7/5 – 7/6 (4)

Earlier today, these were Camille Sireix and Louise Bahurel who won their final against Mélanie Ros and Marie Maligo with a score of 6/3 4/6 6/4.
