Jessica Ginier and Lucile Pothier maintain their efficiency on the French tracks. After many victories in P1000, they almost logically won the first P1500 ladies in Montpellier, a tournament marked by heat.

On the sporting level, the Pothier / Ginier pair won their semi-final (6/4 6/0) against Ros / Lefèvre, then in the final against Ligi / Invernon in 2 sets: 6/1 7/5.

Although it was hot, the conditions were relatively mild, with less wind than in Toulon during the men's event.

Lucile Pothier shared her impressions of the final: “We started our match very well with good momentum, leading 6/1 3/0. Then Fiona and Elodie started to be more aggressive, and we lost a bit of intensity. They quickly returned to 3/3. We fought throughout the second set and finally, we managed to break at 6/5 to win the match and this P1500.
