For Padel Magazine, Pierre-Étienne Morillon, Sports racket sales representative Head, presents the new Radical range, composed of three rackets padel.

Extreme, Speed, Gravity and… Radical!

The genesis of this range follows in the wake of previous collections. The Extreme range is designed for offensive players. Next comes the Speed range, recognized for its versatility but also focused on power. The Gravity range, launched a year and a half ago, focuses on maneuverability and control for more defensive players.

In this already rather complete collection, Pierre-Étienne nevertheless notes that a void remained: “This is why we decided to launch a new model, a new racquet silhouette called Radical, which I present to you here in exclusivity”.

Three models: Elite, Motion and Pro

The Radical range consists of the Radical Elite, the Radical Motion, and the Radical Pro.

The Elite is designed for players who oscillate between defensive and offensive play, offering a blend of control and versatility. Featuring fiberglass faces for greater flexibility, it weighs 365 grams and offers a rather neutral balance.

The Radical Motion goes upmarket with a 3K carbon construction. “It is a slightly less dense carbon which offers control while maintaining a certain comfort when hitting and impacting the ball,” explains Morillon.

Finally, the Radical Pro is the jewel in the crown. It is a slightly heavier racket (370 grams), designed for players who really want control. “It is perfect for players looking for a versatile racket that focuses on control,” explains Pierre-Étienne.

Regarding the positioning of these new rackets compared to previous ranges, the specialist explains: “The Radical is located between the Speed, a rather versatile and powerful racket, and the Gravity, which is a very manageable and comfortable racket. Carbon provides control, so we are really between Speed and Gravity. On the other hand, if we had to compare with the Extreme, we are completely the opposite. Extreme targets the offensive player, while Radical targets the defensive player looking for more control.”

The launch of the Radical range is this Friday, December 1 and the rackets will be available in some clubs and the shops.
