After the defeat this morning of Lucile Pothier and Jessica Ginier in the 16th final of the Human Padel Open, followed by the victory ofAlix Collombon and Victoria Iglesias, it was the turn of Léa Godallier et Araceli Martínez to tread the Toulouse central track this Wednesday. Facing them, the Spaniards Lucía Martínez and Nuria Rodríguez.

Not favorites but supported by the public at the André-Brouat Sports Palace, the Frenchwoman and her Spanish partner had their chance several times in the hard-fought first set. But in the end, it was the 100% Spanish pair who knew how to seize the opportunities and achieve a break synonymous with winning the set (6/4).

Lea Godallier and Araceli Martinez

The start of the second set could have allowed Godallier and Martínez to break away, but they couldn't complete any of the opportunities to delight the opposing serve. And it is unfortunately the other Martínez, Lucia, who, having defended his service, pushed to delight that of Araceli then of Léa. The end of the match was one-sided, with a second concluded with the score of 6/1, after around 1h20 of the match.

There will therefore be only one French player, Alix Collombon, on Thursday in the round of 1 of the tournament.
