Indoors: three styles

Full coverage is obviously the best option for your health center. padel. It is important to have a height of 9 meters in the middle for optimal practice. Indeed, the minimum height required is 6 meters, but it is not at all optimal for practice. Several coverage options are available to you:

  • The Web

It is installed on a steel or aluminum structure. It is possible to acquire structures with the first three removable meters, which allows you to ventilate your space. In order to have maximum sealing, you can opt for a so-called double-skin cover: these are two superimposed sheets, separated by air. The ventilation of your structure is very important because it will allow you not to have humidity inside and therefore to keep your windows dry. The canvas solution is often the least expensive and it remains very effective.

  • Hangar

This option is composed of an all-metal structure, the cost is higher but the playability is excellent.

  • Hybrid:

You have premium covers with wood and canvas. Covers that are generally very designer, which fit more easily into the landscape.

Semi-indoor: a choice that ticks almost all the boxes, however…

If you go with this option it is important that the cover is substantially larger than the terrain of padel at least three meters so that water does not enter your playing space. In addition, the slab outside the track must be sloping.

This option, which has the advantage of being a little less expensive, nevertheless has significant drawbacks:

1. The difference in light between indoors and outdoors makes it very difficult to see the ball inside when it's sunny.

2. The play of light and shadow is also quite awkward. In addition, the cover does not insulate against noise and can let in rain when it is accompanied by wind.
