The dates are now official: from June 21 to 25, 2023, Padel will make its grand debut during the third edition of the European Games, which will take place in Krakow (Poland) from June 21 to July 2. Proof that padel is a sport with modern and innovative horizons
A first with more than 30 countries who will compete over five days, and certainly the best players on the continent who will compete for victory on the pitch.
In addition to the men's and women's tournaments, there will also be a mixed competition, which confirms the path of total harmonization chosen by the International Padel Federation (FIP). The officialization of the competition confirms the strategy chosen in July 2019 by Luigi Carraro, president of the International Padel Federation. In fact, since his arrival at the head of the FIP, he had made the inclusion of padel in the Olympic Games a priority. This is already a first step taken.

"It is a huge emotion for all those who love padel, for those who practice it and for the athletes who have contributed to the growth of our discipline over the years. Looking at the five Olympic rings and seeing a padel racket in the background is the best reward for the hard, serious and incessant work that has allowed us to be chosen by the European Olympic Committees – whom I thank once again – as an independent discipline. I am sure that we will be able to contribute to the success of the European Games, we are looking forward to playing on the court and, now that it is official, to seeing you all on 21 June in Krakow", rejoiced the president of the International Padel Federation, Luigi Carraro.
