The former champion of France and now coach, Johan Bergeron, spoke at the microphone of Padel Magazine on the human Padel Open and on the beginnings of the pair he is training, Ginier / Pothier.

The match is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on the central track of the Human Padel Open against Marta Talaván Ruiz / Lorena Rufo Ortiz.

Back

“I'm very happy to be back on this track, a year later. We can see that the space is magnificent. Having lived this experience, I know that the girls are going to have a blast. And I hope they do better than me, anyway (laughs).”

Coach's goal

“Lucile and Jess don't often participate in international tournaments, so it allows them to play against opponents they are not used to. Personally, I am quite confident. I know it will be a tough challenge because they are up against two players who are near the top 20 and have experience in these types of matches. However, given that we are in France, with the support of the public, I know that the girls are motivated. So I put my little coin on them.”

Meet at 9:30 a.m.

“I am aware that tomorrow will be an exceptional day which will start at 9 am with the participation of the French players. It will be their first match here and they will give everything. I strongly encourage you to come and support them, because they will need your support.”
