The major European and American bodies of padel got together to discuss the future of padel and Euroamerica Padel Cup. Due to the presence of the Spanish Federation of padel, Dominican, Portuguese, the president of the CAPF and the president of the European Federation of padel, discussions and topics have gone well.

Here are the different people gathered around the table:

  • Alfredo Garbisu, President of the Spanish Federation of padel
  • Sergio Navarro, President of the Dominican Federation of padel
  • Ricardo Da Silva, President of the Portuguese Federation of padel
  • Philipe Cefont, President of the European Federation of padel (EPA)
  • Fabrice Pastor, President of Continental American Padel Federation

During this meeting it was planned to reinstate an already known success, EuroAmerica Padel Cup made in Portugal. The next event will take place in 2021 on the American continent.

Beyond EuroAmerica Padel Cup, these senior leaders of the padel Europeans and Americans came together to decide the future of padel and padel professional. We are certainly only at the beginning of a long story, but several topics have been discussed such as the development of padel in Latin America, Central America and the Caribbean, learning about our sport in Argentinian or Dominican sports centers, professionalizing sport with training for referees, coaches, schools of padel, physical preparation and nutrition.

We know the importance of all these subjects, not only at European and American level, but also at global level. It is important to start a machine padel. Let us just hope that these meetings give positive results, for the good of the sport.
