Here we are at the end of the group stage of these worlds of Padel 2021. And we can already draw up a first assessment: the favorites leave no room for doubt.

The world championships are an exceptional celebration, as well as a showcase for the padel in the eyes of the whole world.

It is an opportunity to discover new players, to see new nations which “emancipate themselves” etc. But we must not forget that this is a competition to which the nations have sent their best players. And generally, it is the big players who make the difference in the big ones as in the “small” matches..

The “stars of padel ”Come almost perpetually from the great nations, and this is precisely the observation that can be made at the start of the World: the best nations have left absolutely no crumbs for the others.

More analytically, we can see that among the nations that were from hat 1 at the time of the draw, all finished in first place in their group. And the observation is applicable in girls, as in boys. These nations have been able to demonstrate their seriousness, winning (for the most part) all their matches and leaving as little play as possible to their opponents.

But what does that give in figures?

To support our remarks, we have several examples at our disposal:Spain who have not lost a set in 18 games (if we combine men and women), theArgentina who would certainly have done the same if the men had not forfeited in the third match against Mexico, or even the Italians and our French women who still haven't left a single set on the way.
