At 49 years old, and plus two years after retiring, Cata Tenorio made her comeback to a professional tournament yesterday.

The legendary player, now coach and commentator, shares the track with Carla Mesa at the UPT Leganés Open and it's working quite well for the moment. Indeed, Carla and Cata won in two sets against Ana Dominguez and Rebeca Lopez. Final score 6/3 6/3.

The one who despite everything remained active over the last two years – she competed in the Pro Padel League in the USA with the Arkansas Matrix and will still be there this spring in Miami – shows that at almost 50, you can still be in great shape. Tomorrow, Tenorio and Mesa will try to continue their adventure against Melania Merino and Sofia Saiz in a match which still promises to be difficult.

In addition to the return of Cata, we will also follow the recovery of Julieta Bidahorria, who returns to the slopes after having been operated on to rupture the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. The Argentine, former teammate of the native of Paraná, will share the track for the first time with Alix Collombon. The Franco-Argentinian duo begins this Monday at 9:30 a.m. on the central track against young Marta Borrero and Martina Fassio.
