My Center is recruiting a center manager for one of its clubs located around Montpellier.

My Center, a SARL available in "Sport Club" for leisure practice, in an “Academy” for the management and training of players in the French team (N°1 in France in the training of 10-12 year olds), and in a “Training Center” intended for teachers of tennis registered for “Training Padel” for obtaining the DE (State Diploma).

Your missions:

The center manager is responsible for the strategic and operational functions of the club, ensuring the development of the structure.

You are responsible for managing, administering and controlling all club tasks: administration, personnel, organization, finances. Your role requires a certain versatility.

Main tasks (administrative and secretarial tasks):

  • Commercial development and promotion of the club to a diverse clientele: individuals, businesses, official bodies, etc.
  • Synergy of administration, management, sport and development functions.
  • Participation in the development, monitoring and management of budgets (quotes).
  • Monitoring invoices, payments and reminders.
  • Creation and updating of databases (customers/prospects).
  • Pro-shop management: stock management, sales.
  • Personnel management (planning, recruitment).
  • Management of club finances in close collaboration with the financial director.
  • Promotion of a good image of padel, tennis and club.
  • Direction and management of the various stakeholders within the club (teachers, work-study students, external stakeholders).
  • Compliance with club policy and rules.
  • Management of customer and external partner relationships.

Event organization:

  • Design and organization of activities, events and competitions.
  • Management of the organization, anticipation and monitoring of the logistics necessary for the smooth running of events, requests for administrative authorizations when necessary.
  • Management of privatizations, invitations and registrations if necessary.

Club management includes:

  • Physical and telephone reception of customers, management and optimization of reservations, bar service, clubhouse management and collection.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance and presentation of spaces dedicated to padel (locker rooms, clubhouse, playing area, pro-shop).

Required Skills :

  • Bac+3/Bac+5 training in administration management, management of sports organizations or Sport Events.
  • Dynamism, autonomy, ability to manage and set up projects, good interpersonal skills and ability to dialogue with all stakeholders.
  • Responsiveness, ability to organize and adapt.
  • Organizational skills, teamwork, strength of proposal, management of stress and unforeseen events.
  • Knowledge of padel mandatory.
  • Appreciated: experience in management, knowledge of the sports sector.
  • Writing skills and good command of spelling.
