Nice is one of the most active cities in France, padelspeaking. A new idea appears, and it comes from a store: Nice Smash.

The Nice Smash store takes its involvement in the world of racket sports to another level. Although you can buy your stuff padel or whatever, now you can do more. Its owner, Eric Cablat, passionate about racquet sports and more padel, presents his project to us.

"It's been almost a year since I created a Facebook group, which has become PadelPassion Nice surroundings… This group is not reserved for the inhabitants of Nice, but for enthusiasts of Padel including beyond our borders. In this group, I ask that we share our passion without language of wood but in a good spirit which can sometimes exalt feelings, the main thing is to keep the sense of humor and that of tolerance, except for certain extremes !

From the start I explained that it was probably good to bring people together and therefore put people from all walks of life, different clubs in the region. I started with the 2 addresses of the Complexes of the city of Nice which count, to date, only on reservations made on site or by phone.

And it’s by talking to the creator ofadvantage-padel.net that I understood that this was the way to develop this concept. By using this app, also available on computer, as a store, I allow players from Nice and the region to find themselves on the same platform, to launch games by level in all the clubs of the city, even in those who didn't see many players. So everyone wins; the players play and meet new people of their level, the clubs welcome new players, and I promote my NICE SMASH store and my Facebook group.

Today I count on several clubs like the TC Eze, that of Vence, Montaleigne, and there are of course the Combes and Nice Mercantour St Augustin. Other clubs are not inclined to share their members or faithful, it is their choice, however some are probably willing to contact me to discuss it… 

I think this idea of ​​allowing a store, a works council or a group of friends to use an app padel can only be beneficial for all. At a time when technology is part of our daily life and at a time when we are cloistered at home, why not take the time to test and launch new things?"

If you live in Nice, its surroundings, or passing through:

  • Enter on advantage-padel.net
  • Go to the Players area and create your account without paying for membership
  • Choose the club on the map “Nice Smash Group”
  • Click on “Registration” without paying or giving your credit card number
  • During the day Eric Cablat will validate your access and you can enjoy the site

Currently the Nice Smash Group makes several fake matches in order to familiarize themselves with the site, discover the levels and the point systems. A period of confinement where all players, of all levels, from Nice or passing through Nice, are welcome.
