The number 1 seed did not want to lose a lot of time this Sunday, at the first P1000 Ladies of Isère, at Grenoble Tennis Padel. Lucile Pothier and Louise Bahurel left no chance Géraldine Sorel and Catherine Lalanne by winning 6/0 6/1 in barely 40 minutes.

There was not really a match in this P1000 final, with the undeniable supremacy of the Bahurel/Pothier pair. They did not have no break point to defend in this meeting. Unlike the experienced pair Lalanne/Sorel who conceded 6 breaks out of 9 break points.

A quick match which is also explained by Géraldine's injury following an incident in the decisive tie break (5/4) of her semi-final. Catherine and Géraldine still managed to win this final, but the energy left during this match lasting more than 2h30, and the injury greatly jeopardized their chances for the title.

More than double points won (In 49 24). Lucile Pothier and Louise Bahurel were in expeditious mode in this final. They therefore lift the trophy of last P1000 of this month of November.

Under the leadership of Loïc Revol, referee of the tournament, the players however gave us a superb show throughout the weekend, with great battles and very close matches... until the final.

End clap for this historic first this weekend at Grenoble Tennis Padel. It was also the first Vision women's P1000 organized in Isère.

Congratulations to the winners and the Grenoble Tennis team Padel for the organization and services offered to players: partner hotels, physiotherapists, shuttles, fitness room, etc.

Good recovery to Géraldine who came out with a nice sprain…

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
